Come and join us for a 2-Hour Guided Segway Tour at one of the Grand Strand’s most beautiful wetland and wildlife preserves, Huntington Beach State Park in Myrtle Beach. Nature lovers will enjoy the park’s Environmental Education Center for the chance to see Loggerhead Turtles and other endangered wildlife species up close. The park’s freshwater lake along the causeway is a sure-fire place to see Alligators basking in the sun, a variety of bird species, and maybe even a mink or two. Known for its natural beauty, Huntington Beach State Park was the former winter home of Anna Hyatt and Archer Huntington, sculptress and philanthropist, who left the park and adjacent Brookgreen Gardens as their legacy. Make sure to leave enough time in your day to also visit Atalaya, the picturesque, Moorish-style castle which was their residence and sculpting studios. This tour is around two hours in length with training. Still plenty of time to enjoy the beach and relax before or after your tour.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
We have the ability to transport necessary items i.e. cameras, phones, drinks, etc. These can be carried in the Segway bag on each unit.
Please note there is an entry fee to the State Park and is payable at the main gate. This fee goes to the park authority and is not part of our fee.
Patrons need to arrive 30 minutes before tour time. Give an extra 15-20 minutes from what GPS says.
Patrons arriving after tour start time will miss out and will not be refunded. We can't keep other patrons waiting.

Great way to spend a couple of hours!
Great fun! None of our group of 5 had experience on a Segway, and a Eric’s instruction was thorough and patient. He is also an excellent guide, and provided history of the park and interesting tidbits during the tour. I highly recommend!

Amazing experience!
My husband and I went on the Huntington Beach Segway tour with no experience. Barry, our tour guide, was very friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. In addition, he took the time to get to know us and consistently called us by our name. He pointed out the history, took lots of pictures of us, and truly created a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this and if we come back to the Myrtle Beach area would do this again in a heartbeat.

We had an amazing experience with Myrtle Beach Segway. Eric did a great job teaching our kids how to ride segways and was very accommodating with our schedule as we were only in town for the weekend. Garfield met us on Sunday morning for our ride and did a great job leading the 5 of us around the park on different trails. He made the experience very fun! It was definitely a highlight of our trip, and I highly recommend this company. Great customer service and top-notch on safety and fun!! Thanks for the great experience!

Our guide did an amazing job. I was very anxious about driving a Segway but he did a great job of explaining how it worked and then had us practice until we felt comfortable before we began the tour. He was very knowledgeable. One of our best experiences in a week spent doing many different activities in Myrtle Beach. I would definitely recommend this tour. Well worth the cost when compared to other activities.

The tour started on time. Bob the tour guide was great, taught well, and told great history. We were a little held back on speed b/c there was someone in our group that was scared to move very fast which was slightly disappointing. But all in all the trip was fun.

I was skeptical going into this but it was awesome.. They are easier to get used to than you think and the tour guides were fun. We had Barry and Tony, they were knowledgeable and helpful, we even had a minor medical issue and Barry was right on it. I would definitely do this again and the kids even want to buy segways now. It’s hot in the park so drink lots of water, hence the minor medical issue lol..

Amazing Off Road Adventure
The Segway tour was great. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us a lot of interesting history of the park.we saw different birds and alligators. It was a hot day but with the trails in the park shaded with trees it made it much more comfortable. Most of the riders were first timers, ages 17 to 70, and had no trouble at all. I would recommend this tour for anyone.

Barry was very informative. He knew so much about the landscape, history, and wildlife of the areas we visited. This tour was the highlight of our trip. Amazing - do it!
Bob and Eric were amazing tour guides! They took the time to answer questions and make us feel so comfortable on our first outing on the segways! My older mother was a bit nervous with a bad knee and they made her feel so comfortable and stayed with her at all times giving her many breaks to recover her knee!

My 11 year old was breezing by everyone and enjoyed this so much!!

I would highly recommend this tour and these two specific tour guides!!

They are great with a family of 10, from ages 11-74!!! 💜

Great Segway experience
It was a great tour. Our tour guide was great as well. We saw the castle in the park and learned about who lived there and what they did. Very interesting stuff if you like history.

Don't be afraid of the segways if you never used one before. It takes a couple minutes to learn how the segway balances you out but, once you have that down, its a piece of cake

Such a fun way to explore the park! Nobody in our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers) had ridden a Segway before - and a couple of us are “balance-challenged” and were a little bit nervous. Bob was patient and we picked up on it quickly and felt safe throughout the entire experience. We definitely recommend this tour!

Mundane Segway Tour of Huntington State Park
My family and I were here for the first time visiting the Myrtle Beach area. Bear was our tour guide. He was funny and took us to all of the attractions within the park (which was very limited). I’ve been on other Segway tours which toured the cities or Bridges or Historical sites. This one covered only the park which made it less than what it could have been. It would be an exciting adventure for anyone riding a segway for the “first” time and who are unfamiliar with the park. In order to make this tour more enticing, I suggest that it should include a 1 hour break at the beach so you can feel like your getting your money’s worth.

A great way to see the park.
Had a great time! A bit of history! A bit of adventure! And a whole lot of fun!! We started the introduction to the Segway and practiced a bit near the welcome center and park. Then off we went to the castle. We didn’t go inside but we did go entirely around and learned more about the Huntingtons. We toured around the marshes, seeing the gators and the birds. We went to the nature center to see a bit more about the ecosystems in the area. We then went through wooded trails much was really fun and demonstrated the versatility of the Segway. Can’t wait to come back and do the food tour
