What To Wear

Dress comfortably, flat rubber-soled shoes and layers are recommended for this culinary adventure. Flip-flops, high heels and dress-shoes are not recommended.

Tours include 1 to 1½ miles of walking. There are typically nine stops for tastings and enough food is offered that, for most, a meal afterwards is not needed. Water is served along the way, however it is suggested that participants bring their own reusable water bottles.

Children under the age of 5 not participating in tastings do not need a ticket. Tours are stroller and Wheelchair accessible. Pets are not allowed on the tour.

Rates for parking are 90 minutes free, $2 for each additional hour, $6 maximum per day.

Gratuities for your tour Guide are greatly appreciated and may be offered at the end of the event.

Fun Food Tour

We had a great time with Jody on our Melting Pot food tour of Pasadena! Jody was very knowledgeable about the local food scene, taking us to the best local, family owned businesses in the area. Question: Will there be parking near the start of the tour?

Answer: Yes. Parking is free for the first 90 minutes and $2 for each additional hour. $6 is the maximum for the day. Even though it's a 3 1/2 hour tour, we recommend paying for the day so you can shop and enjoy the sites after the tour.
Question: What kind of shops will we visit on the Old Pasadena Culinary tour?

Answer: The tours are subject to change but you can expect to visit restaurants with different world cuisines, an artisan ice cream and/or a chocolate shop, a tranquil tea bar, a specialty Olive Oil Shop and and a handmade soap boutique.
Question: Where does the Old Pasadena tour start and stop?

Answer: The tour starts and stops in the same location near Raymond Ave and Holly Street.
Question: Are there bathroom stops along the way?

Answer: There are restrooms available at many of the stops on the tour.
Question: Will they give us any time to shop during the tour?

Answer: It is asked that you do not shop on the tour as they need to stay on schedule. At the start of the tour you'll be given a printed guide and itinerary so that you'll be able to go back after the tour and shop at your leisure.
