Enjoy a three hour private one-on-one lesson designed to provide a foundation for basic glassblowing techniques that will have you creating a work of glass art in no time.

Create hand blown glass artwork with the aid of a professional artisan in the heart of Downtown Seattle. Whether you’re an absolute beginner or an intermediate student looking to refine your skills, this private lesson will allow you to learn at an accelerated rate. Your instructor will cover hot shop safety and etiquette, basic techniques including gathering glass onto a rod, shaping key forms such as spheres and cylinders and applying basic color to glass. You will have the opportunity to make a variety of pieces with your instructor which can include cups, bowls, plates, paperweights and small vases. On average, a participant will create between three to five different pieces during the lesson.

Whether you are looking to begin a new hobby or you are simply looking to try it, this is the perfect opportunity to learn the art of glassblowing and create your very own masterpiece.
