The San Diego Dinner Sails are offered seven days a week on evenings year-round, subject to availability. The cruise typically boards at 6:30 PM, departs at 7:00 and returns at 9:30 PM and 10:00 PM on Saturdays.

Xperience Certificates are not redeemable for Specialty or Holiday Event Cruises.

The Dinner Cruises of San Diego have a sail time of approximately 3 hours and a total experience time of approximately 3½ hours.

The San Diego Dinner Cruises may be rescheduled or held dockside by the Captain or the Coast Guard due to severe weather conditions.

What To Wear

Business casual to dressy casual attire is recommended. For men, slacks or khaki pants, and a collared shirt with or without a jacket; for women slacks or skirt, with a collared shirt, or dress. Jeans, shorts, tank tops, flip-flops, or gym shoes are not suggested. Bring along a light jacket or wrap as it gets a bit breezy on the outer decks.

We we told to arrive 30 minutes early, which we did and then we had to stand in the hot sun for 15 minutes.
Service was great. Food was good. Enjoyed the scenic sights. Music was to loud. Worst of all was the lack of parking and absolutely no help and or direction on where to park.

Our only regret is we went on the dinner cruise a little too late in the year. It would have been nice to see the city getting dark as we cruised and dined. The food was nicely prepared and the entertainment was dynamite!.

Overall very good with a lot of attention to customers starting with check in, boarding, ship crew especially our waiter and the disc jockey. We were recognized for 52 years of marriage and the longest married couple on this cruise. We appreciate this cruise that was given to us by a son & daughter-in-law. We thought the whole cruise was wonderful from the pictures taken prior to boarding to the great service of the staff to a meal second to none and of course the music and dance was very entertaining not to metion the romantic views from the upper deck. We enjoyed our dinner cruise very much. The crew and waiters were very friendly and helpful. The music was very well chosen for dancing and listening. Our meal was just right - not too much, but enough to allow it to be enjoyed. It was our anniversary and the cruise was a gift from our daughter. The bottle of champagne that came with the option she chose for us was appreciated.

Mother's Day Dinner Cruise

The boat itself was beautiful....they service was a bit lacking. I upgraded to a widow seat and was sat at a table where one of us had our backs to the top of the stairs! We felt like we were going to fall down! We asked to be moved initially we were told no then a table became available. I ordered a set of champagne flutes we were given drinking glasses with no explanation what so ever! When I ASKED about it I was told there had been a problem with the supplier. I said fine do you have martini glasses...the cuise is about 3 hours long...they kept saying it was being looked into by the manager...it wasnt until we were about to disembark the waitress FINALLY asked her manager! awful just awful and service was EXtremely SLOW!

The crew was very good. The food was good. Our table was placed near the dance floor which was too close when the people were dancing. The music was really too loud because we right next to the speakers. Overall we enjoyed the cruise. We would only go again if we could sit far from the dance floor/speakers.

I have to be honest and say that I wasn't very impressed with the food. It was very dry and was obviously served for the masses. However, the dinner cruise itself was very romantic and beautiful. Not sure if I would invest the money again, but we did have a good time.

Overall this was a good experience, stunning views of the city, romantic on the deck. It had the feel of a wedding sometimes however with the DJ spinning. A live band would have been better. Chicken was dry, felt a little impersanable with mass-produced food. But for a large nightly dinner cruise it was quite enjoyable.
