Sit back, relax and enjoy the magnificent Key West sunset during this relaxing two hour Schooner Sailing Trip aboard the magnificent America 2.0.

This outdoor adventure begins at the Historic Seaport at Key West Bight. Here you will be welcomed aboard the 105’ vessel by the friendly Crew. A replica of the 1851 Schooner America, this gorgeous ship offers padded seats, teak decks, mahogany-trimmings, and 3600 square feet of canvas sails! Once the Captain navigates the Schooner away from the dock and has her under sail, you will be able to sip on complementary beverages as you take in the views of Fort Zachary Taylor, Mallory Square, Sunset Pier and Sand Key Light Tower! Don’t forget to be on the lookout for dolphins, sea turtles, and water birds!

The Key West Schooner Sunset Sail Experience Gifts Certificate is valid for one participant, unless additional participants are added onto the certificate. There will be up to 50 additional participants on the sail.

When It Is Offered hide

The Key West Schooner Sails are offered seven days a week November to April. Sunset Sails typically depart between 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM, depending on the time of year.

How Long Is It hide

The Sunset Sail in Key West has a sail length of 2 hours and a total duration of approximately 2½ hours.

Weather hide

The Key West Sailing Trips take place in all weather conditions, but may be rescheduled by the Captain due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What To Wear hide

Dress comfortably, flat, non-marking rubber-soled shoes and layers are recommended for this sailing adventure.

Additional Information hide

The America 2.0 is designed after the famous Schooner America that was built in 1851 in New York harbor. That same year, America won the international race known today as the America's Cup.

Complimentary beer, soda, and water will be provided on day sails. Wine and champagne will be available for purchase. Three rounds of drinks will be served, but this is not an unlimited booze-cruise. The aim is to create an elegant, relaxing, peaceful, and safe experience for all guests. Food is not served during the sail, but passengers are welcome to bring snacks or a light picnic on board.

Smoking and outside drinks are not permitted on board the Schooner. Complimentary ponchos will be provided if it begins to rain. The Schooner is not Wheelchair accessible.

Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Gratuity for the Captain and Crew is not included and is appreciated at the end of the cruise.
