Once you are setup with a Segway i2 PT and helmet, your Guide will go over all of the important safety tips and riding instructions you need to know in order to safely enjoy this two-wheeled excursion. After everyone is comfortable on their Segway, you will set out on your waterfront sightseeing tour of West Palm Beach. Throughout the Segway Tour, your entertaining Guide will discuss interesting facts and highlight noteworthy sights along the way.

The Segway Tours of West Palm Beach are offered seven days a week, year-round, subject to availability. One Hour tours typically depart at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM and the Two Hour Tours typically depart at 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

How Long Is It

The West Palm Beach Segway Tours include instruction and a 60 minute tour, unless the Extended Segway Tour option is selected.

Weather

The South Florida Segway Tours may be rescheduled by the Guide due to lightning, high winds or other inclement weather.

What To Wear

hide

Dress comfortably, appropriate for the weather conditions. Flat, closed-toe shoes or sneakers are required for this Segway adventure. Flip flops, dandles and heels are not acceptable footwear. Helmets will be provided and must be worn at all times while on the Segway.

Additional Information

Tour price includes use of a Segway i2 PT, training, a bottle of water, rain poncho (if necessary), handlebar bag, a radio ear piece (to hear your guide) and helmet rental. Participants are required to wear helmets at all times, must be at least 14 years old and be between 100-270 lbs in weight and between 5' and 6'5" tall. Please do not bring large bags or purses.

Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe are not eligible to participate. Children must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years of age or older at all times.

Gratuity for your guide is not included and may be extended following your tour.

Question: My cousin uses a walker but can stand on his own without difficulty. Would he be able to attend the Segway tour in West Palm Beach with us?

Answer: All participants must be able to easily and quickly step off the Segway PT without assistance which requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without assistance or use of a handrail.
Question: I have a gift certificate for a Segway Tour, but I've never ridden a Segway before. Is there instruction before the tour? What if I can't figure it out?

Answer: Riding a Segway is easier than riding a bike. 15 minutes of instructions is all it takes and the tour will be sure everyone is comfortable on their Segways before you leave for the tour.
Question: We're going to be in West Palm Beach and have a voucher for 2 people to go on the Segway Tour. What is the minimum age? Can I send my teenage kids on the tour?

Answer: The minimum age is 14 years old. Anyone under 18 must have an adult attend the tour with them.
