Skateboarding in Manhattan

Board in New York City During an Hour Skateboarding Lesson

About This Experience

General Information hide

A relatively modern sport, originated as 'sidewalk surfing' in California in the 1950s, Skateboarding was born out of surfing as something to do when there weren't any waves. It has gone on to establish itself as an individual sport. From Half pipes, to street skating, to high speed downhill slalom, skateboarding is forever evolving.

No matter what level you are, this is a great way to have fun and improve your skills.

Louie has been a professional skateboarder sponsored by numerous companies for the past 10 years and he has been teaching children and adults how to skateboard for over 8 years.
