All aboard the Spirit of Boston for an afternoon of fun during this unique Harbor Tour! You're in for a treat as you enjoy a delicious two-hour New England sightseeing Lunch Cruise.

This 5-Star rated adventure begins at the World Trade Center when you and your guest are greeted by the friendly Captain and Crew. Once on board, you will be escorted to your table. You may then order a beverage from your server or explore the ship as the Captain navigates the boat away from the dock. After departure, fresh salads accompanied by warm rolls will be brought to your table. When it is your turn to head to the lunch buffet, you may indulge in as much as you would like. After you savor your lunch, you may then head out on to the deck and take in the views of the beautiful Boston Harbor. Highlights along the way include views of the Zakim Memorial Bridge, USS Cassin Young, the McKay Shipyard and more!

A pleasant day on the water

Our party of 4 enjoyed the fine vessel, great buffet, and warm sunshine as we cruised the harbor. As first timers to Boston, my wife and I could have benefited from a narration of what we were seeing, but we were told that is not done out of season. Pity. Can we only go as high as number 5? Saying we had a totally awesome time is most certainly not saying enough. Starting with checking in at the front gate, (I liked that fact that your employee made it a point to check where we parked to be certain we received a parking discount.), to the crew welcoming us on board, the wait/showstopper staff, and ending up w/'Julie McCoy' from the Love Boat. Everyone was very upbeat and always going not one, but two steps further. I can not recommend this enough. As a matter of fact, one of my sisters was on the ExperienceDays website the following day to check things out in Florida. One recommendation. There should be some music piped to the outside. I know there are speakers there, and they must be used at the nighttime cruises. At one point I believe if I held my breath and my head just right, and tried hard, I could hear a tiny bit of sound from them, but I'm not even certain it was coming from the speakers. It should not be loud outside, but it should be heard. All in all, we could not say enough. I've been telling everyone about the cruise and even more so about the 'personal attention' we received. Our cruise happened to have 3 bus loads of senior citizens and even with that very demanding group (I work with the elderly. Wonderful, but even when they are happy, sometimes challenging.), we were never left waiting or looking for our server. (Brittney was more than fabulous.) Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience. We are looking forward to the opportunity to do it again. Maybe a night cruise next time?

i enjoyed my cruise for the most part, for the price there could have been more food to chose from. the brunch was great on a sunday, but you need to tell the customers what kind of cruise they are having before they come, some of us ate breakfast already and thought they were going on a lunch cruise. the view was great, the staff was great!

Question: Is the Spirit of Boston wheelchair accessible?

Answer: Yes. The entire ship is not accessible but the main deck and restrooms can accommodate most standard-sized wheelchairs.
Question: Do I need to know anything before I board? What are the procedures like?

Answer: You will need to bring your confirmation to the ticket desk when you arrive and show your tickets when you board. You are also subject to a search. In order to expedite the boarding process they ask that you do not bring any unnecessary bags on board and please make sure that all gifts are in gift bags or unwrapped for easy screening.
Question: My partner is gluten-free. Will they be able to accommodate him?

Answer: While gluten and allergy free products are offered, and gluten sensitive items are on the menu, they openly handle several allergens throughout their galleys. And while they take precautions to keep ingredients separate, they cannot guarantee a gluten free environment. They do not have separate prep surfaces, cook tops or equipment.
Question: Is there any parking near the docks?

Answer: There are paid lots nearby. Parking rates can range from $7- $25 a spot. Spot Hero parking is available nearby as well.
Question: My boyfriend and I have reservations for the Cruise for this weekend, but there is rain in the forecast. Will the Cruise be cancelled for poor weather?

Answer: The ship is fully enclosed and climate controlled. They will sail rain or shine. In the case of extreme weather, the ship will be held dockside.
