Departing from Erie, you will meet your friendly Captain near Dobbins Landing. Once onboard, you will have the chance to enjoy feeling the wind in your hair, the sound of the water splashing against the boat, and the sight of the sail billowing in the breeze. Once out on the water, your Captain will offer you the chance to take the helm of the Sotto Voce, or you can simply sit back and take in the view's of the Lake's shoreline. This is your chance to escape the noise and chaos of everyday life and to appreciate the simple yet profound beauty of the natural world.

The Sunset Sails are offered Thursday thru Monday evenings May thru September, subject to availability. Sails typically depart 90 minutes prior to sunset.

The Great Lakes Sunset Sails have a cruise length 2 hours and a total duration of approximately 2 ¼hours.

Weather

The Lake Erie Sailing Trips may be rescheduled by the Captain due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What To Wear

Dress comfortably, flat, non-marking rubber-soled shoes and layers are recommended for this sailing adventure.

Additional Information

Sails take place on a 33' Beneteau which is skippered by a USCG-licensed captain and crew. Participation is limited to individuals 3 years of age or older. While motion sickness is possible, it is unlikely and can be reduced by avoiding heavy meal(s) prior to the scheduled sail. All passengers must sign a release form.

Gratuity for the Captain & Crew is not included and may be extended following your sail.
