Take a journey Upstate and discover the beauty of the Hudson Valley during this guided full-day New York Wine Tasting Vineyard Tour.

This Culinary experience gift begins 90 minutes north of Manhattan in Beacon, New York when your friendly, local Guide meets you at Beacon Station. They will chauffeur you and the rest of the group on a six hour tasting excursion of the Hudson Valley. Throughout the vineyard tour, you will visit small towns and sample the gastronomic gifts they have to offer. From locally grown and produced wines and cheeses, to fresh farm stand produce you will have the chance to swirl, sip and savor all the best Hudson Valley has to offer.

Wine Tour highlights include a visit to the oldest continuously operating winery in America which features hand excavated cellars, a gourmet picnic lunch, wine tastings, insights about the region's history and shopping at quaint gift stores along the way. So whether you’re looking to discover more of the Hudson Valley or for a fun day out Upstate, this Wine Tasting Vineyard Tour is the ticket and makes a unqiue gift for New Yorkers!

The Hudson Valley Wine Tours are offered one Saturday per month April thru October, subject to availability. Tours typically begin at 10:30 AM.

The Hudson Valley Vineyard Tours have a tour length of 6 hours and a total duration of approximately 6½ hours.

The Winery and Vinyeard Tours take place in all weather conditions.

What To Wear

Dress comfortably in layers. Flat rubber-soled walking shoes, sunglasses and insect repellent are recommended for this outdoor adventure.

Transportation from Beacon Station to the wineries and vineyards takes place on a shuttle. Participants will be returned to Beacon Station at the end of the tour.

Tours typically include stops at three tasting locations with 5-7 tastings at each location, a picnic lunch of gourmet sandwiches, local cheese platters, green and pasta salads, flavored waters, and a sweet dessert. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the experience substitutions cannot be made for all dietary restrictions.

Possible stops on the tour include: Brotherhood Winery, Baldwin Vineyards, Kiernan Farm, Adair Vineyards, Stoutridge Vineyard, 5 Spoke Creamery, Whitecliff Vineyard, Nirmala's Farm, Robibero Winery, Benmarl Winery, Glorie Farm Winery, Magnanini Winery, CDC Farm, Applewood Winery, Clinton Vineyard, Millbrook Winery, and Warwick Valley Winery.

Specific stops on the tour are subject to change. Tours include some walking on uneven ground.

Water is available at the tasting locations. Participants may also purchase additional beverages from certain locations along the way. Restrooms are available during the tour.

Participants must be 21 years of age or older.

Gratuities are not included but are greatly appreciated and may be offered at the end of the event.

Answer: The Vineyard & Wine mini-coach tour offers participants a freshly prepared lunch which includes a selection of gourmet sandwiches along with local cheeses, green and pasta salads, flavored waters and a homemade dessert. Most dietary restrictions can be accommodated with advance notice.
