Experience first-hand the excitement of Class III-IV rapids and spectacular Rocky Mountain scenery during this half-day Colorado Rafting Adventure. Ideal for thrill seekers and outdoor enthusiast, these whitewater thrills are fueled by the runoff of the Vail Valley, making this some of the best rafting in all of Colorado!

You will meet your experienced River Guide in Wolocott, Colorado located two hours west of Denver. The excitement begins when you get fitted with your lifejackets and helmets and meet the rest of the guests who you will be paddling alongside. Once the group is ready, you’ll head to the launch site with your Guide who will escort you down the River for hours of whitewater excitement!

Just a short drive from Vail, Beaver Creek, Steamboat Springs, Winter Park and Breckenridge Colorado, this high-octane River Rafting adventure on the Eagle makes the perfect day trip. Who Is Included hide

The Whitewater Rafting on the Eagle River Experience Gifts Certificate is valid for one participant, unless additional participants are added onto the certificate. You will be joined by additional participants in the raft.

This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests or spectators.

When It Is Offered hide

The Eagle River Rafting is offered seven days a week in Mid May thru Mid July, subject to availability. Half Day trips depart at 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

How Long Is It hide

The Whitewater Rafting Trips on Eagle River are approximately 4 hours in duration.

Weather hide

The Colorado River Rafting Trips may be rescheduled due to high winds, heavy rain, other inclement weather or low water levels. All decisions to cancel, move, or postpone scheduled trips will be made by the Guide on the day of the reservation.

What To Wear hide

Dress comfortably in light and quick drying clothes and bring a change of clothing for the car ride back. Recommended items include a water bottle, swimsuit, shorts, t-shirt, sunglasses or hat and sunscreen. Outdoor sandals or water shoes are ideal and splash jackets and rainwear will be provided.

Additional Information hide

Your rafting experience will take place with a Professional Guide from Colorado River Runs and includes all rafting gear, and life jackets.

Participants are advised to be well rested. Please avoid drinking alcohol 24 hours prior to the scheduled experience. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions such as heart or lung conditions, severe asthma, back problems, recent surgery, obesity or osteoporosis or any other condition which is considered unsafe are not eligible to participate.

The recommended minimum age/size for participants is 8 years old and 50 pounds.

All Participants must check in 20 minutes prior to scheduled departure. Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.


Reservation Information hide

All changes to reservations for the Whitewater Rafting on the Eagle River Experience require seven (7) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
