One of the best days of my life. The staff are super friendly which helps you relax and have fun. I tell you it's perfect for people like me who've never been in a helicopter before and all ways wanted to try. One of the greatest gifts a person could receive hands down.

From the moment I walked in, the staff was polite and very knowledgable. We went through the entire course, starting with theory and ending with my 1st Helicopter lesson. The instructor was calm and very open about learning. The flight was incredible and a must do for any one who's ever had the desire to fly a helicopter.

I would recommend this experience to anyone that would like to enjoy a challenge that is also incredibly thrilling. I was a bit nervous at first, but the instructor was so friendly, confident and personable, it instantly became an amazingly fun experience. I will do it again and I suggest to anyone thinking about doing this, GO DO IT!, it is worth every bit of the nominal cost.

The folks @ L.A. helicopters were fantastic. I was given a thorough introduction to rotor-powered aircraft and later had a very enjoyable flight. It was a warm sunny day so we flew without the doors...truly memorable!! Thanks Xperience Days for a really 'great day!' Sincerely, JJ

I received a gift certificate for this experience, and went down on a Saturday. I've never had flown anything before, but this was a one-of-a-kind experience. After some basic classroom instruction, you go up in a helicopter with an experienced pilot and actually get to take control and fly! I would highly recommend to anyone who likes adventure.

Tried the demo flight a few years back. Very memorable exprience. Alot more hands on flying compared to other demo flights I've attended. Thumbs up.

Luis at Los Angeles helicopters was great! Even dropping my cell phone out of the chopper over Long Beach couldn't rain on my parade. Next time, I'm bringing a phone with a cord.

My sister gave this to me as a gift for my birthday. It was a truly amazing experience. I am considering going to flight school after this experience.

Zach was a fantastic instructor. He taught me how to maneuver the helicopter fairly well considering it was my first flight. I got to circle the Queen Mary and hover. The only bad thing I can say is that the weather wasn't great and if I could do it again, I'd try to do it without a revervation (not sure if that's possible) so I could pick a clear and sunny day.
- Jim - Long Beach, Thursday, October 09, 2008
'WOW!!! You really do take ALL the controls and fly the helicopter. What an awesome experience (and a great birthday present)! The entire staff at Los Angeles Helicopters were so nice and eager to make this a once in a lifetime Xperience.'
- Patty McMillan - Long Beach Airport (Saturday Oct 4, 2008), Tuesday, October 07, 2008
This experience was not cheesy like I thought it would be. I flew the helo right after take-off. I flew it over the beach and back to the airfield. At that point I hovered the helo and turned 360 degrees in 90 degree increments while hovering without any assistance by the instructor. It was one of the best things I have ever done!
- Jeff Campbell - Los Angeles, Friday, September 26, 2008
Everything was just as advertised. It was a beautiful day and Weston was a very good instructor. I have a private pilots license so flying was familiar, but controlling a helicopter is very different. Straight and level, climbs and turns were no problem, but hovering was something else. I held it in place for a little over a minute but then lost it.
I would recommend this to anyone with an interest in flying. Flying with no doors and being able to look straight down was a real kick.

Zach was an excellent instructor and Luis was a gentleman and friendly.
