There is no better way to experience the wonders of Morro Bay than from the seat of a kayak. Designated a National Estuary, the varied eco-systems of Morro Bay abound in all kinds of wildlife. Harbor seals, sea lions and sea otters all call the bay home, as well as literally hundreds of species of birds, including several rare and endangered species. The waters of the bay are protected from the open ocean by a scenic four mile long sand-spit and the weather is moderate year round, creating an ideal place for beginners, families and experts to kayak. You may select from the following Kayaking Adventures: the Half Day Classic, the Full Moon Paddle or the Sunset Paddle.

Who
The Kayaking on Morro Bay For Two Xperience Certificate® is for two participants. There will be additional participants on tour.

Guests
This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests.

When
The Kayaking on Morro Bay Experience is offered seven days a week year-round, subject to availability. The Half Day Classic begins in the morning, the Sunset Paddle typically begins two hours before sunset and the Full Moon Paddle beings just after dusk.

Duration
The Kayaking on Morro Bay Experience has a paddle time of approximately 2 to 2½ hours and a total duration of approximately 3 hours unless the Lunch, Dinner or Hiking Option is added.

Weather
The Kayaking on Morro Bay Experience may be cancelled by the Guide due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What to wear
Dress comfortably, flat, non-marking rubber-soled shoes, layers and swimsuits are recommended for this kayaking adventure.

Additional Information
Each kayak tour of the bay launches from State Park Marina, the closest access point to the wildlife and natural peacefulness of the back-bay and estuary.

Kayak tours and trips on Morro Bay are designed to accommodate beginners as well as experienced kayakers. There is no minimum age requirement. Children (age 0-2) may sit in a lap of an adult while children (age 3-8) may sit in the front of a tandem kayak with an adult in the rear. Kids age 10 and up have the option to go in a single, but they will have to paddle the entire length of the tour. Appropriate PFDs are available for all age levels.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the Kayaking on Morro Bay Experience require seven (7) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
