Fly like a bird over Austin, Texas during a Discover Flight in either a Hang Glider or motorized Microlight Trike. Following a brief orientation, you will head outside with your Certified Instructor and prepare to take flight!

This airborne adventure provides you with a wonderful way to learn about hang gliding and is a great way to have fun. You will be introduced to the glider and suited up prior to take-off. Then it's time to take to the skies, you will soar through the beautiful Texas skies for approximately 30 minutes.

This Discovery Flight over Texas is the perfect gift for anyone who dreams of flying! So, no matter which aircraft you choose, you are certain to enjoy an amazing airborne adventure!

Who
The Tandem Austin Discovery Flight Xperience Certificate® is for one participant.

Guests
You may invite guests to watch your take off and landing.

When
The Tandem Austin Discovery Flight Experience is offered seven days a week, March thru October, subject to availability. Flights are typically scheduled between at 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Duration
The Tandem Austin Discovery Flight Experience has an average flight length of 30 minutes and a total duration of 1 hour.

Weather
The Tandem Austin Discovery Flight may be cancelled by the Instructor due to severe weather such as high winds or heavy rain.

What to wear
Dress comfortably, layers and flat rubber-soled athletic shoes are recommended for this aerial adventure. Participants will be provided with all necessary equipment.

Additional Information
Participation is limited to individuals weighing less than 225lbs and are at least 16 years of age. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe are not eligible to participate.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form. Participants under the age of 18 require written consent by a parent or legal guardian on the day of flight.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the Tandem Austin Discovery Flight Experience require seven (7) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
