This tour is guaranteed to raise your spirits! Step aboard the trolley of the doomed and see the darker side of Beantown. Your host, a 17th Century grave digger cursed with a sentence of eternal damnation, will guide you through the City and tell you about Boston’s most sinister characters, from the Angel of Death to the king of all killers, the Boston Strangler.

You and will learn about all the haunts and visit two of the oldest burial grounds in Boston proper. Next, you will visit the Copp's Hill Burying Ground in the North End, nestled atop the tallest point in one of Boston's oldest historic districts. Here you will visit the final resting place of Cotton Mather, a man famous for his "intimate" involvement with the Salem Witch Trials. Along the tour you will be joined by a cast of wretched creatures cursed with a sentence of eternal damnation.

Your final stop is the Granary Burying Ground where you will visit the final resting places of many of the most famous heroes of the American Revolution including John Hancock, Paul Revere and Samuel Adams. This is a scary, fun and informative fright seeing experience that is truly one of a kind.

The Boston Ghosts & Gravestones Tour Experience Gifts Certificate is valid for one participant, unless additional participants are added onto the certificate. There will be additional participants on the tour.

This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests or spectators.

When It Is Offered hide

The Boston Ghouls and Gravestones Tour is offered Thursday thru Sunday evenings, mid April thru May, and a week seven days a week June thru October, subject to availability. Tours depart at 7:00 PM, 8:00 and 9:00 PM.

How Long Is It hide

The Boston Ghosts Tour is 1½ hours and has a total duration of approximately 2 hours.

The Boston Narrated Ghost Tour takes place in all weather conditions.

What To Wear hide

Dress comfortably, flat, rubber-soled shoes and layers are recommended for this trolley tour and walking adventure.

Additional Information hide

The Boston Ghosts and Gravestones Tour is rated 'PG-13'. The tour may not be suitable for children under 13 years of age, and anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 6 years of age are not permitted on the tour.

Tours have four stops, including two of Boston's oldest burying grounds, and include walking at each stop. Stops are subject to change.
