• Edward’s scooter tour was great!

  Edward took our family of 5 (three older teens) on a scooter tour of Central Park. He was knowledge, personable, and did a wonderful job of managing our group with a smile! This is a must-do! One of our favorite parts of our NYC family trip.

• Nice tour

  Fun guided tour of Spanish Harlem. Not as much of riding that we thought there gonna be, so it was nice and not tiring. The guide was very happy to tell us all the history and interesting spots.

  This was a really nice guided tour of the Harlem neighborhood. It is probably one of the liveliest places in New York City. Great culture and great food.

• Absolutely Great Biking Experience

  We rented the bikes online and were very happy when we arrived to find the bikes in such nice condition. The tour guide was so great with tons of information on hand, about the beautiful scenic Central Park. We are so happy to have chosen this super company and recommend to all who would like to spend a great day together.

• Guided Central Park tour

  We booked a guided tour of the park online. Our bikes were ready to go on the day of the tour. Our guides name was Scott and he was knowledgable about the park and also about all its history and some fantastic story from 1920s. We had fun.

  A very enjoyable tour of the beautiful and full of culture Harlem and mid town area with a guide. Riding in the city is not as scary as we thought it will be. Having a guide definitely helps.

  We had a wonderful time going around the park with out tour guide Mark. For the price it was a very pleasant tour. The weather was great so it din’t feel like two hours long.

• Great idea

  Booked the tour online from home before travelling, seemed like great value as it was only $10 more each than bike hire alone. Worked out really well, we ended up in a group of about 20 with a guide called Giovanni. He showed us areas we would have been unlikely to find ourselves and gave us a bit of history of various areas of the park and the buildings and famous inhabitants surrounding it. It was advertised as being a 2 hour tour but it was very laid back and ended up around 3 and a half hours. The weather was great when we went, I think it would have been a different story in the rain!

  It was nice to have a guide in Central Park, we learned a lot about the park and its history. The kids had fun too. The weather was nice as well.

  Having a guide along for the tour of the Central park was a pretty good idea. We have done the park before on foot and having a bike and guide this time around was amazing.

  Some of us business friends decided to do a quick guided tour of the park before flying off. Our guide was patient and knowledgable and made the tour fun. The bikes were good too.

  This was my favourite activity during our 7 day stay in NY. Our tour guide (Stan) was extremely knowledgable and gave us all the facts of the various locations we cycled to.
  
  The group was small (only 4 of us) which was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would definitely recommend it. Bikes are comfortable and easy to operate (gears etc) and they help you set up your bike to the correct height. The cycling was not exhaustive and barely any hills for any non-biking fans. This was really fun and a fantastic way to see central park.

  This was our first time taking the guided tour with this company and it was really good idea. The sites get new meaning and history. Should do atleast once.

• Just Do It Yourself!

  I booked this bike tour for my family with a coupon. So with the significant discount, I felt less upset than I would have been if I had paid full price.
  
  Problems? Let's start with the website which stated "Reservations must be made in Advance". I called ahead of time and was told by the person who answered that reservations are actually not needed and to just show up in time. I arrive, show my coupon, and the clerk behind the counter immediately asks if I made a reservation! I tell her what I was told and she turns around and asks another employee who also says I need a reservation! I was getting a little upset but to their credit, they redeemed the coupon.
  
  I've been on a lot of city tours in many different cities and I expect the guide to be extremely knowledgeable, filling in details about the history or the culture you would not be able to get easily on your own. Unfortunately, our guide was none of that. We rode at slow speeds for about fifteen minutes at a time, got off, and then he would give a one minute introduction of the site which basically consisted of the name of the location and when it was built. Nothing that you could not easily find out on your own. For that reason, you might as well just ditch the guide and ride around by yourself.
  
  The only reason I am giving this two stars is the price and the quality of the bikes. With the coupon, it really wasn't much more than renting the bikes alone and the though the bikes weren't new, they were very well maintained which made riding them a pleasure.

• Good value but needs a little administrative improvement.

  Our bike guide Sergio was very good and friendly. The tour covered what you'd expect to be able to see in 2 hours through Central Park. What I was disappointed in was the logistics when you got to the place to star the tour. People were returning bikes as we were just being handed off the same bikes. No cleaning, wiping them down, no adjusting of bikes, etc. We were never given Helmets (the whole group) although tours says they were included. I think a little more prep time in between rentals/tours would be a nice touch.

  <p>The tour itself was very informative. I wished the tour guide would have rode faster in between stops. The biggest thing is the ride between where you pick your bike up and central park. You have to ride thru Manhattan traffic a little over 2 blocks. This is a very busy and dangerous traffic area.</p>

  We did the guided tour of Central Park for two and it was worth the money. Our guide was knowledgable with the entire park and its long history. All the historic sight plus lots of sight people don’t know. Tiny hidden gems.

• Disappointing Tour !

  Disappointing tour! Our guide Phil was a very nice guy. We cycled to a few places of interest, he told a few facts and left us to walk around 15+mins by ourself . We only stopped at half the advertised stop on their brochure. The bikes were good quality . Overall disappointing tour !

  We had a two hour tour with our guide Tony. We were 5people of all age and Tony was very professional and made the tour enjoyable for all of us.

• Awful experience - stick to citibike and save $$$

  We were warned as we got our bikes that central Park was going to be busy as there was a big Aids awareness walk on..OK not ideal, but being a company supposedly expert in the park it would not be an issue, as they would well aware of the big event and work the tour round the walk. So..our tour. We saw Christopher Columbus statue and Denzil Washington apartment. We where then told to leave park by the wardens as it wzs closed to bikes.. we cycled up the westside sidewalk to try and get up to North of park-after being told not to cycle on sidewalk by cop half group lost tour guide...found him 20 mins later in Park..ride abandoned decision made. Lost guide again to sidewalk& had to find way back to centre via iPhone. No refunds. And worse than that they still were selling park tours to unsuspecting tourists.
  Appalling. I have to hope I can get refund from Amex for services not delivered. 1/149 sites seen and 0.5 miles cycled. 0.4 of those on the road getting to park.
  I am renting a citibike and doing it myself. My stunning tour map attached courtesy of garmin. Oh and by the way 17 people in a group is 7 too many

• Loved it

  We loved both the Central Park and our guide. The park was absolutely gorgeous and humongous and our guide was very well versed with it. Riding in the park was also great.

• I learned a lot and had fun doing it!

  The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the park. It was really nice to have a tour in the fresh air, but not have to walk. The bike was a perfect compromise. I really enjoyed feeling the breeze and it helped me enjoy Central Park that much more. I would love to return to Central Park and I would definitely consider another bike tour!
  We stopped at the fountain and took pictures. We also stopped at Strawberry Fields and walked through the fields before continuing the bike tour. The park was very beautiful and the tour was entertaining.

  After renting bikes and just exploring the park we decided to give guided tour a chance. Our guide Scott was lovely. Great guide and very interested in the park and the city. Next time will do the Harlem tour.

  We booked a large group tour (6ppl) with this company. Our guide was Mark I believe and he was wonderful. Very helpful, knew all about the city and the park and very patient with all the questions. Would recommend.

  My sister and I biked the Park with Sergio. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining company. We had a great time riding with Sergio and hearing good stories and interesting facts around the park. He was bike safety conscientious, and we had no problems with the rental bikes.
