Enjoy a two and half hour dinner cruise on the Willamette River with a guest. This is your chance to sit back, relax and take in all of the beautiful sites that the picturesque City of Roses has to offer.

You and your guest will enjoy a delicious meal featuring Northwest Cuisine as you listen to live piano music. Upon departure, you will head South (upstream) from downtown Portland on the Willamette River to the Milwaukie Basin/Lake Oswego area. Once you’ve reached Peter Kerr Park it’s time to head back.

Explore the outside observation decks as the return leg cruises North through downtown, grab a drink at the bar or simply take pleasure in time spent together on this indulgent Willamette River escape.

The Portland Dinner Cruise Rides are offered on evenings year-round, subject to availability. Cruises typically board at 6:30 PM, depart at 7:00 PM and return at 9:30 PM.

The Dinner Cruises in Portland may be held dockside or rescheduled by the Captain if there are severe weather conditions.

What To Wear

Dressy Casual attire is suggested. High heels are not recommended, but flat non-slip shoes are. The vessel offers fully enclosed with climate-controlled dining decks. Layers are suggested as it gets cooler on the outer decks.

The price includes the sightseeing Cruise, live entertainment and a meal. Your meal includes your choice of plated entrée prepared to order. Menu options typically include a seafood, beef, poultry, and vegetarian option. The menu changes each day to include fresh, seasonal and local ingredients. Appetizers and beverages other than water available for purchase.

We didn't expect such good food on a river ship hauling 300 people, but were very pleasantly surprised. The trip was well organized, the crew - including wait staff to captain - were friendly, attentive and skilled. It did get dark halfway through, so our advice would be to go in mid-summer when days are longer. And the 6:30 boarding time? Get there a bit earlier and avoid the crowd. All in all, an excellent trip.

We got this as a gift and we loved it. The service was amazing. The entertainment was great, but not so overpowering we couldn't have a conversation. The only downside was that it would have been nice to have more dinner options.

This is a great dinner cruise, the food was great. Great sight seeing spots, and the ship is the best place to see the sunset from took us out to see the sunset. The cruise also had live band and a dance floor. You can walk about the deck and enjoy the view and the nice breeze. Staff was awesome too, got treated better than dining in a restaurant. For the price you get a full course dinner... from appetizer to desert.

Answer: The Portland Dinner Cruise is a restaurant style plated sit down dinner. The menu changes day to day, and you will order from a menu on the day of you Cruise.
Question: I was given this cruise for my birthday and would like to take my good friend who is a vegetarian. Will they be able to accommodate her?

Answer: Yes, the menu changes on a daily basis but everything is made fresh in the galley and there is always a vegetarian option on the menu.
