There is a 300' walk from the train to the park, so please let us know if you have someone in your party that may have problems walking this distance. While there is some seating at the park, we suggest you also bring a blanket in case you would like to picnic on the shady grass.
While the RiverTrain is new, the equipment and railroad have a long history. The Train operates on the 16-mile "Woodland Branch" between Woodland and West Sacramento, CA. The Woodland Branch was constructed in 1911 by the Northern Electric Co. as the Sacramento and Woodland Railroad to link the fertile farmlands of Yolo County with the developing city of Sacramento.
Outside food and beverages are not permitted on the train. Soft drinks, water, and snacks are available for purchase at the concession stand.
Unfortunately, the train is not wheelchair accessible.
Gratuity is not included and can be extended to your server onboard.
