The Boeing PT-17 Stearman was the first aircraft a cadet would fly during flight training prior to and during World War ll. Known for its stability and strength, the Stearman was a reliable primary trainer and remains a popular classic today.
The front seat of the plane is a bench. If adding an additional passenger, the combined width of both passengers must not exceed 32" across.
Flights do not take place if the weather is below 65 degrees or above 100 degrees, as the plane has an open cockpit.
Children under the age of 10 should fly with an adult and must be at least 48" tall. Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form prior to flight, and a parent or guardian must sign for anyone under the age of 18.
