Leap from a plane harnessed to a license tandem instructor approximately 2½ miles above the ground and freefall for 60 seconds! Deploying the parachute at about 5,000 feet, you and your instructor will enjoy a five to six minute parachute flight over Southern California’s gorgeous landscape!

Because your instructor is with you all the way to landing, there is no need for you to worry about anything during your jump except to remember to relax and have fun. Your instructor will take care of everything which will allow you to completely enjoy yourself. Landing softly in our grassy drop zone in front of your friends and family, you will be presented with a First Jump Certificate to proudly display!

Participants
The Tandem Skydive San Diego Experience Gifts Certificate is valid for one participant, unless additional participants are added onto the certificate. You may be joined by up to ten additional participants.

When It Is Offered

The Tandem Skydives in San Diego are offered seven days a week year-round, subject to availability. Weekend reservations are typically scheduled between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM, and weekday reservations are typically scheduled between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

How Long Is It

The San Diego Tandem Skydive Experiences have a 60 minute ground orientation and training, a short plane ride to the jump site, a 60 second freefall, a 5-7 minute parachute ride and a total duration of approximately 3½-6 hours (depending on weather).

Weather

The Tandem Skydive San Diego Experience may be rescheduled by the instructor due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What To Wear

Dress comfortably, in layers. Flat rubber-soled shoes such as tennis shoes are recommended for this adventure. You will be provided with a jump-suit to wear during the experience. Jewelry, flip flops and opened toed shoes are not permitted.

Additional Information

Participants must be over the age of 18 years old with a valid government issued Photo ID. Participation is limited to individuals weighing less than 230lbs. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe conditions are not eligible to participate.

All jumpmasters and instructors have current USPA ratings and flight medicals on file. All staff members are professionals, chosen for their commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

The consumption of alcohol or any illegal drug prior to skydiving is strictly prohibited. Please eat lightly and drink fluids on hot days. If you get air sick or car sick, Dramamine is suggested.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form prior to flight. Video and Photo Packages are available and may be purchased on the day of your jump.
