The Portland Scenic Flights are offered seven days a week year-round, subject to availability. Flights may be scheduled between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM.

How Long Is It

The Portland Scenic Flight Tours includes 30 minutes of flight time with a total duration of approximately 45 minutes. Flight time is defined as the time from engine start to engine shutdown. This includes the time it takes to get from the ramp to the runway and back, before and after takeoff and landing.

Weather

The Portlandia Scenic Flight may be rescheduled by the Pilot due to severe weather such as high winds, fog or heavy rain.

What To Wear

Dress comfortably, layers and flat rubber-soled athletic shoes are recommended for this aerial adventure.

Flights take place in a Cessna 172. Participation is limited to individuals weighing less than 250lbs and a total combined weight of 525lbs. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe conditions are not eligible to participate.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form prior to flight. If the participant is under the age of 18 a parent or guardian will need to sign the form prior to participation.

Gratuity for the Pilot is not included and should be extended following the flight.
