What To Wear

Dress comfortably. flat rubber-soled shoes and layers are recommended for this culinary adventure. Flip-flops, high heels and dress-shoes are not recommended.

Tours finish within three blocks of the starting point and include 1½ to 2 miles of walking. There are typically four or five stops along the tour, each stop will last between 20 and 25 minutes.

All dishes are served sitting down, so you can enjoy the ambiance of each restaurant while trying their specialties, and hearing their stories. All dishes served are included in the price of the tour. The dishes you will try resemble small meals rather than traditional tastings. During the Food Tour, each restaurant will serve water or other beverages. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased during the tour from the restaurant(s).

Eating a light brunch before the tour rather than lunch is recommended. Enough food is served that most participants will not need dinner after the tour.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the experience no substitutions can be made.

Gratuities for your tour guide are not included but are greatly appreciated and may be offered at the end of the event.
